Our mission is to inspire curiosity and foster learning for all children, students, and adults who come through our gates. This task would be impossible without your help. Last year, donors, like you, helped us impact the lives of nearly 3,000 students representing 50+ schools. Your donations also helped us host exciting daily programs and events that drew nearly 11,00 visitors.

As a private, non-profit organization, the Manitowoc County Historical Society relies on the support of our members and community.  To make a contribution to the Manitowoc County Historical Society, please contact the office at (920) 684-4445 or email director@manitowoccountyhistory.org.

Leave a legacy with the MCHS Endowment Fund. Founded in 1992, the Endowment Fund provides an ongoing source of funding for MCHS through the interest earned on its principal.  With your donation of securities, real estate, life insurance, wills, or charitable trusts, your gift will continue to grow and assist the Manitowoc County Historical Society in preserving the past for the future.  Please contact the Manitowoc County Historical Society to make a contribution to our Endowment Fund today.

Endowment Fund

At the Manitowoc County Historical Society, every visitor has the opportunity to pursue knowledge and fun in a way that is tailored to them. We inspire curiosity and foster meaningful interaction with unique, engaging experiences that don’t exist anywhere else.

How do we know what matters to our guests?

We asked them. We studied their interactions on our grounds, how they learn and what they enjoy. The result is a one-of-a-kind immersive experience that spans annual events and unique workshop experiences to award-winning programs and hands-on daily activities.

But we can’t do it without your help.  Donations to our General Fund keep our lights on, staff energized, and our Society working to ensure our past is not forgotten.

General Operating Fund

Created in honor of Hugo and Eleanor Vetting, the Vetting Fund is an ongoing source of support for the development and maintenance of Pinecrest Historical Village.

Hugo and Eleanor Vetting paved the way for the creation of the Manitowoc County Historical Society's Pinecrest Historical Village with the donation of their 40-acre farm.

Keep their generous spirit alive with a donation to the Vetting Fund.
